Day 7: Start Posting

START POSTING DAILY.

You have everything in place, nice work! Starting today, you need to post at least once to your personal Facebook fanpage and/or your Linkedin profile.

Do the following tasks:

  • Every day you need to post SOMETHING. It can be a statistic, quote, philosophy, comment on trending topics, projections on the future, quick-win tips, etc.
  • Be sure to link back to your personal brand website whenever it makes sense, and encourage people to sign up for your newsletter if you can (don’t be obnoxious about it though).

Day 6: Launch Your Email Campaign

SEND YOUR “LAUNCH” EMAIL CAMPAIGN.

Now that you have everything in place, you can send an email campaign with all of the information you’ve done over the last five days.

Do the following tasks:

  • Add any/all email contacts you have to your mailchimp account (or whatever email platform you’d like to use). This could be friends, family, existing clients, previous clients, etc.
  • Create an email campaign that includes your Launch Message, Launch Party, and Launch Promotion.
  • Send the campaign between 10am and 2pm.

Day 4: Invite Your Friends

INVITE ALL OF YOUR FACEBOOK FRIENDS TO LIKE YOUR FANPAGE.

We saved this task for Day Five for a reason! You don’t want people to like your page until you have all the information on their from days one through four.

Do the following tasks:

  • Invite all of your friends to like your Facebook page (even if they aren’t in the area). Be sure to include a personal message when you do this task. Here is an example message: “I am so excited to announce that I’m launching my new personal brand. I’d really appreciate it if you would like my page and help me spread the word.”

Day 3: Create an Event

SET A DATE/TIME FOR AN EVENT 4 WEEKS FROM NOW.

This can be a networking party or community event. Just plan SOMETHING. Remember that you ALWAYS need to have an event coming up.

Do the following tasks:

  • Create print graphics for event (flyer or postcard)
  • Create social media graphics for event.
  • Create an event on your Facebook fanpage.

Day 2: Create a Promotion

CREATE A PROMOTION FOR THE LAUNCH OF THE NEW BRAND/WEBSITE/BUSINESS.

You need to create a time-sensitive promotion that will get people to act now.

Do the following tasks:

  • Create promotion timeline/specs. Click Here for Launch Promotion Ideas.
  • Create Landing Page on your website with contact/appt form.
  • Create graphic for sharing on Instagram and Facebook.

Day 1: Set Objectives

SET OBJECTIVES FOR THE NEXT 30 DAYS.

You need to set goals and track performance, just like you would with any venture you’re taking seriously.

Set objectives for the following list:

  • Job Offers
  • Interviews
  • Applications
  • Website Visitors
  • Website Pageviews
  • Email Subscribers
  • Facebook Fanpage Likes
  • Instagram Followers
  • YouTube Subscribers
